With a length of approx. 35 cm, it offers you maximum proximity to your dog without disturbing or adding unnecessary bulk. Equipped with a sturdy bolt snap, it's ready for use in no time.
The rubberised webbing provides excellent grip, so you always have a secure hold even without a hand strap – even in wet conditions or during quick reactions.
We deliberately chose not to include a hand strap on this short lead – and for good reason:
Especially when off-leash, a loop can easily get caught on branches, bushes, or obstacles. This not only increases the risk of injury but can also be dangerous for your dog.
The loop-free design significantly minimises this risk.
WHY A SHORT LEAD?
The short lead is particularly suitable for dogs off-leash who don't wear an easily graspable collar or for whom you need quick access in an emergency.

The BioThane reinforcement is one of the special details of our training leash—and not just visually a real difference.
Unlike many other providers, we don't just sew the ends or use tubing or simple finishing solutions. Instead, we use high-quality, original BioThane to reinforce the ends cleanly, stably, and durably.
This has several advantages:
The ends do not fray unattractively, look higher quality, and lie flat. At the same time, the BioThane reinforcement provides additional stability at the heavily stressed points of the leash.
The connection is secured with screws that are provided with thread locker. This ensures everything sits firmly and reliably. The end of the leash is also fitted with a small piece of BioThane—for a more comfortable feel in the hand and so that the end of the leash does not unravel unattractively.

Yes, this is completely normal.
The black snap hook has a coating applied by the manufacturer. This is not a powder coating applied by us.
Scratches can occur through normal use — for example, due to asphalt, contact with D-rings on the collar or harness, other metal parts, or external environmental factors.
This can fundamentally happen with any snap hook, whether it's a bolt snap or a safety snap hook, and regardless of the color. With black snap hooks, it is only more noticeable because the silver-colored base metal can become visible under the dark coating.
This is normal cosmetic wear and has no effect on the safety or function of the snap hook.
If visible signs of wear bother you, we recommend choosing a silver snap hook — scratches are generally much less noticeable on them.
We deliberately chose a version without a hand loop.
Short leads often remain attached to the dog during walks and dangle freely. A hand loop can easily get caught on branches, bushes, or other objects. This is not only annoying but can, in the worst-case scenario, lead to injuries.
Thanks to the loopless design, you can easily leave the short lead on the dog and still have a secure grip on it immediately if needed. This significantly reduces the risk of getting caught without having to forgo quick control of your dog.
