CARE TIPS AT A GLANCE
The collar can be easily cleaned under clear water or with a little soap to remove mud, dirt or other contaminants. Then simply dry it with a towel and the collar is ready for its next use.
ADDITIONAL BASIC:
The basic collars have a foam inner lining, which can become cracked or porous over time due to skin oils. You should therefore make sure to rinse it regularly under water to slow down this process or, in the best case, prevent it. If well cared for, the inner lining will last for several years. Please make sure not to use hard brushes or other sharp-edged objects when caring for the collar, as this can damage the surface and thus ruin the inner lining. A simple cloth is sufficient.
ADDITIONAL PREMIUM:
The premium versions have a synthetic leather lining. These are extremely durable and robust. These should also be cleaned regularly, but do not require intensive care like the foam. Please make sure not to use hard brushes or other sharp-edged objects when cleaning them, as this can damage the surface and thus ruin the lining. A simple cloth is sufficient.
The metal elements are rose. Wear and tear is normal over time. The old versions had rivets. The black rivets can oxidize over time. If this condition becomes too severe, they should be replaced, as we cannot look into the material and know whether the statics are damaged. We can happily replace these with screws.

For perfect care, we recommend hand washing. This way, your metal elements will not be damaged and you can wash off any dirt quickly and easily. For the carabiners, we recommend that you regularly use oil to ensure that your carabiners last a long time. This also helps you remove sand contamination more easily.

Cleaning? Very simple! Either wash it at 30°C in the washing machine (in a washing bag to protect the buckle) or rinse it briefly under running water - so it always stays like new.

This collar does not require any special care. However, it should be rinsed regularly with water, especially if you have been in the sea. Salt or other dirt particles between the links can increase friction and cause faster wear. This means that a used look can be achieved more quickly.
A notice:
Hanging points between the links and at the end of the chain are normal and cannot be avoided. These areas have little to no color because no powder can reach them.

Inner lining:
BASIC variant:
The basic collars have a foam inner lining, skin oils can cause the material to crack or become brittle. Therefore, you should make sure to rinse it regularly under water
PREMIUM variant:
The premium versions have a synthetic leather lining. These are extremely durable and robust.
Other materials:
Metal elements such as eyelets, rings and screws are made of metal. Abrasions and scratches are normal and normal wear and tear.
Old collars and leashes were fitted with rivets, especially the black ones, which oxidise over time. This is a normal process and cannot be avoided. This is accelerated by poor care. If the rivets oxidise, we recommend replacing them. We cannot guarantee that they will not work when riding.
Screws are additionally glued, except for the throat strap of a muzzle, for example; this is specifically mentioned in the product description, as this is supposed to be removable.
The roller buckle has a breaking load of 200kg according to the manufacturer.

Intended Use:
This collar is not a choke collar and therefore conforms to animal welfare regulations. It was developed primarily as an accessory or for dog sports where a leash is not primarily used .
Not suitable for dogs that pull on the leash! The thin material means that a pulling dog can put pressure on the neck, which can lead to pain or injury.
Notes on using linen:
If the collar is to be used with a leash, the leash must be clipped directly to the LEFT or RIGHT of the carabiner . This means that the carabiner is never directly on the dog's neck.
Important: If the carabiner opens accidentally, it can cause injury if strong pressure is applied or it is played with.
Safety carabiner:
The safety carabiner has a breaking load of 410 kg (manufacturer information).
Make sure that the carabiner is always properly closed to prevent accidental opening. An open carabiner can pose a significant safety risk.
Load limits:
The breaking loads of the chain collars come from the manufacturer and apply under optimal conditions:
Short-linked 3 mm: up to 280 kg
Long-linked 3 mm: up to 250 kg
Long-linked 4 mm: up to 600 kg
