The Aqua products are made of the material BIOTHANE, which is an established brand.

Products with the addition BARK are made of a similar material, but not original BioThane, which is why we separate these two collections from each other.

📌 Why is width important?

Too narrow: Can cut in or cause pressure points.

Too wide: Can be uncomfortable or restrict movement.

If your dog pulls hard, the collar should also be wide enough so that the load can be distributed well


Small basic rule that can help you

Dogs under 20kg
25-30mm wide collars

Dogs from 20kg
40-50mm wide collars

This depends on various factors.

First, how tall and heavy is your dog? What breed is your dog?
Does your dog like to pull on the leash?

But also questions like, do I want to use the line often at the beach / lake.


Point A
Breaking load: You can find more information on breaking load below. Here, you should make sure you choose a carabiner that's suitable for your dog. For example, if your dog pulls very hard and weighs at least 35 kg, we would always recommend a Quick Release carabiner with a breaking load of approximately 400 kg or an Extreme Carabiner with a breaking load of approximately 500 kg.

Point B
You are often at the sea or lake, your leash is constantly in contact with sand.
For example, quick-release carabiners are significantly less prone to locking than bolt-type carabiners. However, if you regularly maintain your carabiners, e.g., with oil and other products, and immediately wash off sand in water, you'll generally experience fewer problems.

The breaking load information is important so that you know at what load a carabiner, for example, could break.

As an example:
Most dog breeds can develop a pulling load of up to 4 times their body weight. Sled breeds can even develop up to 8 times their body weight.

So if you have a 30kg dog that likes to pull or even jump on the leash, you should choose a carabiner and a collar strap, for example, that can withstand at least 120kg+.

The so-called frog carabiners are from one company.

We have our own quick-release carabiners with the same optics and mechanism

However, the Frog carabiner company has models with a much higher breaking load of up to 1 ton. So, if you have a particularly heavy dog ​​and want to be on the safe side, as it may be reactive and often pull on the leash, we can order these on request. Please note that these are very expensive per piece, which is why we only offer them upon request.

This is a special mechanism that prevents the carabiner from opening on its own. Basic Bozen carabiners may open on their own, for example, due to leverage from a D-ring on the collar.

A safety lock carabiner prevents this.


Quick Release Carabiner
Here you have to press BOTH sides of the carabiner to open it. If you only press one, the carabiner won't open.


Safety bolt carabiner
It's similar here. The carabiner has a lever on the back. Only when this lever is activated does the carabiner open. This version is especially suitable for people who like the look of a bolt-action carabiner or perhaps don't have the cash for a more expensive version.

Have you purchased a product, such as a collar or muzzle, but realized you measured incorrectly and your product doesn't fit? In this case, you can return the product at your own expense.

If your parcel could not be delivered – for example, because the delivery address was incorrect, your name was not on the doorbell, or you were not found several times – it will automatically be returned to us.

Of course, we'll be happy to resend your package. However, in this case, a new shipping fee of €6.90 will apply.
