Chain | Choke collar
For your chain collar to fit perfectly, we need your dog's exact neck circumference (NC) – not the length of an existing chain!
Here's how to measure correctly:
1️⃣ Grab a tape measure (or string + ruler).
2️⃣ Measure the neck circumference where the collar should sit.
Not too tight, not too loose: 1–2 fingers should fit comfortably underneath.
❗ Important:
We will use your measurement without adding extra chain links.
Since the links have a fixed length, we may need to go up to the next higher measurement – in this case, a maximum of one extra link will be added to ensure a good fit.
👉 So: Measure the NC accurately – we'll take care of the rest!
Chain | Choke Collar
To ensure your Bark Chain fits perfectly, we need your dog's head circumference – not the neck circumference!
Here's how to measure correctly:
1️⃣ Grab a tape measure (or string + ruler)
2️⃣ Measure the widest part of the head (over the ears!)
❗ Important:
The chain is slipped over the head and cannot be opened.
👉 To ensure it can be easily put on and taken off:
Add 3–5 cm to the measured value
Example:
50 cm measured → choose 53–55 cm head circumference
Collars
Instructions refer to collars without a stop function, such as: Aqua Classic, Aqua Extreme, etc.
For your collar to fit well, please measure your dog's exact neck circumference (NC) – precisely where the collar will sit.
1-2 fingers should fit loosely between the tape measure and the neck.
Our collars are adjustable by approx. 8-10 cm.
To avoid too much excess strap, we recommend choosing your measurement so that it falls in the middle of the size range.
Example:
NC = 44 cm → Recommendation: Size M (40–50 cm)
This gives you enough leeway for minor deviations – without unnecessary excess.
👉 Tip: Also pay attention to the correct width!
The longer your dog's neck, the wider the collar can be.
