Our grippy guide leash is available in 1.5 m, 2 m or 2.5 m – suitable for controlled city walks or relaxed everyday rounds with more freedom of movement.
The rubberized webbing lies securely in the hand even when wet and is also pleasantly light. The hand loop is securely screwed and glued.
You can hook the carabiner into the O-ring of the hand loop and comfortably hang the leash around your shoulder during off-leash time or a break.
The area around the carabiner is additionally reinforced with a high-quality BioThane piece. This provides more stability and gives the leash a clean, high-quality look.

The BioThane reinforcement is one of the special details of our training leash—and it's not just an aesthetic difference.
Unlike many other providers, we don't simply sew the ends or use tubing or simple end solutions. Instead, we use high-quality, original BioThane to reinforce the ends cleanly, stably, and durably.
This offers several advantages:
The ends don't fray unsightly, look more premium, and lie flat. At the same time, the BioThane reinforcement provides additional stability at the high-stress points of the leash.
The connection is secured with screws that are treated with threadlocker. This ensures everything stays firm and reliable. The end of the leash also features a small piece of BioThane—for a more comfortable feel in your hand and to prevent the leash end from fraying unsightly.

Yes, this is completely normal.
The black carabiner has a coating from the manufacturer. This is not a powder coating applied by us.
Scratches can occur through normal use — for example, from asphalt, contact with D-rings on the collar or harness, other metal parts, or external environmental factors.
This can fundamentally happen with any carabiner, whether it's a bolt snap or a safety carabiner, and regardless of the color. With black carabiners, it's just more noticeable because the silver-colored base metal can become visible under the dark coating.
This is normal cosmetic wear and has no effect on the safety or function of the carabiner.
If visible signs of wear bother you, we recommend choosing a silver carabiner — scratches are generally much less noticeable on those.
You can attach the leash's snap hook to the O-ring and comfortably sling it around yourself – perfect for when your dog is off-leash and you want to have your hands free.
Additionally, you can attach a poop bag dispenser or other small accessories to it.
