Preparation before washing

• Always turn the textile inside out.
• Do not wash together with coarse fabrics such as jeans or towels.
• Avoid zippers, buttons, and Velcro fasteners if possible.
• Do not overload the washing machine to reduce friction.
  
  
  

Detergent

• Liquid color or delicate detergents without enzymes are suitable.
• Detergents with enzymes, optical brighteners, or bleaches are not recommended.
• Avoid heavy-duty detergents, powder detergents, and hygiene or intensive detergents.
• Enzyme-containing detergents can damage the surface of the print and, in combination with friction, lead to premature color abrasion or detachment.
  
  
  

Wash program & temperature

• Wash at a maximum of 30 °C.
• Use a gentle or easy-care program.
• Avoid high spin speeds.
  
  
  

Fabric softener & additives

• Do not use fabric softener.
• Do not use hygiene rinses or fragrance additives.
  
  
  

Drying & ironing

• Do not tumble dry textiles.
• Air dry, ideally inside out.
• Do not iron directly over the print.
• Do not use steam.

Don't panic! Should a small corner or a fine area of the print come loose during washing, you can usually save the print.

You will ideally need an iron for this. A small travel iron without a steam function is ideal.

Important:
Always place a piece of baking paper between the iron and the print. Please never iron directly over the print, as this can damage it.

Now iron with light pressure for a few seconds over the area that has come loose. If necessary, you can carefully repeat the process.

It is important to apply some pressure so that the adhesive of the DTF print can reconnect with the textile.

Please inspect your product immediately upon delivery – ideally before the first wash or wear.

If there's an issue with the print, for example, if a small corner is lifting, an area wasn't pressed correctly, or you notice a defect right away, please contact us immediately.

If the error is on our part, we will, of course, take care of it and either correct the product or produce a new one.

However, please understand that after the product has been worn or washed, we can no longer ascertain whether all care instructions have been followed. DTF prints are very durable with proper care and can look good for years – we have been using our own products for a long time, over several years, and know that they reliably last with correct care.

Over time, as with many printed textiles, signs of wear and tear can naturally appear. However, incorrect washing or improper care can significantly accelerate this process. For example, the print can become harder, fine areas can detach, or the material can appear more brittle over time – similar to what you might know from very old band shirts. This has nothing to do with quality, but actually with the care/washing of the products.

Since many external factors can affect the print after use, such as detergent, fabric softener, temperature, tumble dryer, friction, or spin speed, we unfortunately cannot replace damage caused by improper care free of charge.

If, despite all this, a small corner should detach and you have no way to carefully re-iron the spot yourself, we are happy to offer our free re-pressing service.

You can send the product to us at your own expense. We will professionally re-press the affected area. The service itself is free of charge; only the shipping costs apply.

Typically, we will send your product back within 1–3 business days of receipt.
