Our training lead made of rubberized webbing is now available in two lengths:
1 m and 2 m.
The 1 m variant is ideal for targeted training, dog school, as a house line, or for use in dog sports. Its short length makes it particularly suitable for controlled work and it is also compliant with examination requirements.
Due to numerous requests, we have also added a 2 m variant. This is perfect for everyday use, normal walks, or situations where your dog should have a little more freedom of movement without the lead becoming too long.
One end has a sturdy bolt snap, while the other end is deliberately left open.
Please note: The 2 m variant also has no hand loop and no adjustment option.
The rubberized webbing provides exceptionally good grip and remains secure in your hand, even when wet. At the same time, the material is pleasantly light, making it very comfortable to handle.
Compared to coated materials, it is slightly more prone to getting dirty, but offers significantly more grip.
Additionally, the ends of the leash are reinforced with a high-quality Biothane piece. This not only provides more safety and durability but also gives the leash a clean, high-quality look.

The BioThane reinforcement is one of the special details of our training leash—and it's not just an aesthetic difference.
Unlike many other providers, we don't simply sew the ends or use tubing or simple end solutions. Instead, we use high-quality, original BioThane to reinforce the ends cleanly, stably, and durably.
This offers several advantages:
The ends don't fray unsightly, look more premium, and lie flat. At the same time, the BioThane reinforcement provides additional stability at the high-stress points of the leash.
The connection is secured with screws that are treated with threadlocker. This ensures everything stays firm and reliable. The end of the leash also features a small piece of BioThane—for a more comfortable feel in your hand and to prevent the leash end from fraying unsightly.

Yes, this is completely normal.
The black carabiner has a coating from the manufacturer. This is not a powder coating applied by us.
Scratches can occur through normal use — for example, from asphalt, contact with D-rings on the collar or harness, other metal parts, or external environmental factors.
This can fundamentally happen with any carabiner, whether it's a bolt snap or a safety carabiner, and regardless of the color. With black carabiners, it's just more noticeable because the silver-colored base metal can become visible under the dark coating.
This is normal cosmetic wear and has no effect on the safety or function of the carabiner.
If visible signs of wear bother you, we recommend choosing a silver carabiner — scratches are generally much less noticeable on those.
Yes, our leash is intentionally designed as a short examination and training leash, approximately 1 meter long.
Depending on the club, association, dog sport, or examination, there may be specific regulations or recommendations. Some also allow 1.2m long leashes. Many clubs tolerate or prefer shorter leashes of approximately 1 meter in length in practice – this is precisely why we deliberately chose this length.
Due to its short length, the leash fits neatly in your hand, does not dangle unnecessarily, and allows for calm, controlled handling of the dog.
Furthermore, it is not only practical for dog sports but also wonderfully suitable as a short training leash in everyday life – for example, as a so-called house leash. This way, you can gently guide, restrain, or support your dog at home or in controlled situations without a long leash getting in the way.
