They are very secure and well-made. The side arms, which are designed to rest slightly below the cheekbones, ensure a very secure fit.
The basket gets its color through powder coating and is equipped with BioThane straps. Our nose pad is sewn in place. All screws are glued (except for the throat strap).

Powder coatings are very durable but not indestructible. Sniffing on asphalt or other hard surfaces, or generally bumping the muzzle against other objects, can cause damage to the affected areas, causing the coating to chip or become scratched. A muzzle is a daily item; unfortunately, such occurrences are normal and unavoidable.
Color indication for wear
Due to the different pigment composition of each color, metallic and neon colors wear out faster than standard colors. This may also apply to very light standard colors. This is normal and unavoidable.
NOTE STRAP:
For smaller dog breeds, we recommend the classic neck strap closure with the roller buckle, as this allows for smaller and better adjustment options.

CHOPO muzzles are galvanized wire muzzles which we powder-coat to a high standard and are equipped with BioThane straps.
The neck strap has a roller buckle, which is black as standard. This can show signs of wear over time.
Using strong, black book screws with extra securing adhesive, the strap always stays in place.
The adjustability varies from muzzle to muzzle.
If you wish, you can get an extra throat strap.
This also comes with black screws, which are NOT glued, so you can adjust it yourself as needed, or even remove it completely.
If you would like to have other metal elements such as silver or rose, please write to us, these are currently only available on request.
The inner lining of the nose pad is currently made of a soft foam material. To ensure that it does not become brittle or porous over time due to the skin oils of your furry nose, you should regularly clean the nose pad under tap water.

Yes! We also glue and sew each cushion – unlike other suppliers who usually only screw or glue. The screws are covered by the cushion, so there's no chafing.
Why is this important? The padding material (a special foam) can become porous over time due to skin oils. If it isn't additionally stitched, it can break or peel off. You can extend its lifespan by regularly rinsing it with water.
Yes, all screws are glued – except for the one on the throat strap, so you can adjust it individually. The bonding prevents vibrations (e.g., during confrontations with other dogs) from causing the screws to come loose and compromise safety.
With the 2Face model, one color is powder-coated on top and another on the bottom. The color transition runs roughly in the middle—where the neck strap will later be attached.
Yes, it's possible. To do this, place a towel on the table for better grip and bend carefully. Small struts or welds can break if you bend too quickly or too sharply. However, with caution, the risk is low.
It depends on your dog. Many muzzles need to be slightly adjusted—for example, in width or on the cheek—to ensure a perfect fit. This is completely normal.
