With heart and mind for your dog
How it all began
NatureBark was not born out of a business idea, but out of a real challenge. Our former fearful dog Sam presented us with major problems: conventional dog leashes and collars from pet stores did not do what they promised. They were either unstable, impractical or difficult to clean - and in the worst case, even dangerous.
We had to experience first-hand how collars suddenly got out of place and our dog was able to escape from them in panic situations. Leashes broke when he pulled hard. That was not an option for us. The only alternatives were tactical equipment - sturdy, but not suitable for everyday use and difficult to clean. Leather was out of the question for us. So we started to develop our own products: robust, safe, functional and still stylish.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Today we put all our heart and soul into NatureBark. Our products are not only well thought out and high quality, but also designed for the well-being of the dog. Quality has its price, but we stand for fair prices - because good materials and craftsmanship should be valued. Every product you find with us is handmade and meets exactly the standards that we ourselves have for dog accessories.
But NatureBark is more than just a brand. We want to impart knowledge, educate and create a community that wants the best for their dogs. Our Fact Friday and our blog offer deeper insights into materials, dog behavior and useful equipment. We also go one step further: Steffen is currently training to be a dog trainer, Cynthia is specializing as a nutritionist for dogs. Our goal? To provide products and knowledge that really help - with passion, experience and expertise.
