Made from sturdy greased leather in endless strap quality, each leash is carefully braided by hand and fixed with high-quality screw connections – glued and screwed for extra durability.
The leather feels soft in the hand, is grippy and robust at the same time – just the right amount of flexibility without stretching out or being too hard.

The name of your furry friend is engraved in the center of the leather – using a high-precision laser process , durable and weatherproof.
You can choose between several fonts – simple, playful or elegant – to suit your style.
Leather: 100% Buttero cowhide from Italy (Tuscany)
Tanning: Vegetable tanned, chrome-free
Thickness: approx. 2.8 mm (may vary slightly as it is a natural product.)
Exterior surface: Smooth, slightly shiny, sealed
Inside: Soft, also sealed for additional protection
Edges: Rounded, sanded and sealed by hand
Fittings: Black, silver and rose fittings made of steel, gold fittings made of brass

Note: Fittings may develop slight scratches due to friction – this is normal and does not affect functionality. This effect is more visible on black elements than on silver or rose gold.

Waterproofing: Natural leather balm (wax/oil-based), water-repellent but not 100% waterproof. We recommend NOT using the collars and leashes while swimming, for example, at the beach in the sea or lake. Instead, remove them from the dog beforehand or use BioThane products as an alternative.

- Cleaning: Only by hand, if necessary – with a slightly damp cloth and without aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals.
- Drying: After getting wet, always allow to air dry thoroughly – not on the heater or in direct sunlight .
- Care: Use a natural leather balm regularly, ideally based on beeswax or vegetable oils .
→ This protects, cares for, waterproofs and keeps the leather supple – without leaving any harmful residues.
→ Important: A good balm is harmless to animals and can even come into contact with the tongue without any concerns.

We recommend caring for the collar about once a month with a high-quality, natural leather balm (e.g. beeswax-based) .
This protects against drying out, makes the leather supple, and keeps it water-repellent. Apply a thin, even layer of the balm to the exterior, allow it to absorb, and then wipe off any residue with a soft cloth.
💡 Tip: Leather may darken slightly due to care – this is completely normal and a sign of quality.

Yes, dyed leather can bleed some color if it comes into contact with moisture or friction, especially if the fur is light-colored.
This is a natural characteristic of genuine leather and not a defect.
We seal each collar for protection – but as with any leather item, please do not wet it or leave it in water for long periods of time.
It is water-repellent but not waterproof.
Rain is no problem – you should avoid bathing, swimming, or prolonged exposure to moisture . If the collar gets wet, let it dry thoroughly (not on the radiator!) and then treat it again.

No. Our leather is high-quality, and thanks to the vegetable tanning process, the odor is greatly reduced. That typical strong leather smell isn't present here.
