Do you already have a wire muzzle and want to have it coated? No problem - turn old into new.
Please note that the muzzle must not have any coating (no black rubber coating or anything else).

Please send your muzzle to the address in the imprint. Please enclose a note with your order number in your package, this is the only way we can assign your package.

As soon as your muzzle arrives, we will coat it and add new straps as desired. You can choose your desired colors here.

CHOPO muzzles are galvanized wire muzzles which we powder-coat to a high standard and are equipped with BioThane straps.


The neck strap has a roller buckle, which is black as standard. This can show signs of wear over time.
Using strong, black book screws with extra securing adhesive, the strap always stays in place.

The adjustability varies from muzzle to muzzle.


If you wish, you can get an extra throat strap.
This also comes with black screws, which are NOT glued, so you can adjust it yourself as needed or remove it completely.


If you would like to have other metal elements such as silver or rose, please write to us, these are currently only available on request.

The inner lining of the nose pad is currently made of a soft foam material. To ensure that it does not become brittle or porous over time due to the skin oils of your furry nose, you should regularly clean the nose pad under tap water.

Can I still bend the muzzle after powdering?

Yes, it's possible. To do this, place a towel on the table for better grip and bend carefully. Small struts or welds can break if you bend too quickly or too sharply. However, with caution, the risk is low.

Do I even need to bend the muzzle?

It depends on your dog. Many muzzles need to be slightly adjusted—for example, in width or on the cheek—to ensure a perfect fit. This is completely normal.

Can the coating come off?

Yes—for example, if your dog drags his muzzle across asphalt. Even the best powder coating has its limits. Remember: a muzzle is a functional item and is allowed to show signs of wear.
