Das NB Extreme Slip verbindet den robusten Aufbau unseres Extreme Halsbands mit der Funktion eines verstellbaren Zugstopp-Halsbands.
Statt einer klassischen Schnalle ist es mit einer hochwertigen, glänzend schwarzen Edelstahl-Durchzugskette ausgestattet. Der Zugstopp lässt sich stufenlos anpassen, sodass sich das Halsband bei Zug nur bis zur eingestellten Weite zusammenzieht.
Gefertigt aus originaler BioThane® ist es wasserfest, besonders robust, hygienisch und einfach zu reinigen. Durch verschiedene Farben, Splatter und Stickoptionen kannst du dein Halsband individuell gestalten.
Das NB Extreme Slip ist in zwei Breiten erhältlich:
Die 25mm Variante kommt inklusive Außenband auf eine Gesamtbreite von ca. 28–30 mm und ist mit schwarzer oder silberner Edelstahl-Durchzugskette erhältlich.
Die 40mm-Variante erreicht inklusive Außenband eine Gesamtbreite von ca. 43–45 mm und ist ausschließlich mit silberner Edelstahl-Durchzugskette erhältlich.
Bitte achtet auf die Größenangaben damit das Halsband auch richtig passt.

RICHTIG MESSEN
Damit das Halsband bei Zug nicht über den Kopf rutschen kann, miss den Umfang deines Hundes direkt hinter den Ohren. Zusätzlich benötigst du den Umfang an der breitesten Stelle des Kopfes, damit sich das Halsband im lockeren Zustand bequem überziehen lässt.

Beispiel:
Umfang hinter den Ohren: 45 cm
Breiteste Stelle des Kopfes: 47 cm
Normaler Halsumfang: 46 cm
In diesem Fall empfehlen wir Größe S. Die kleinste Einstellung beträgt 42 cm, sodass das Halsband passend eingestellt werden kann und bei Zug sicher hinter den Ohren sitzt. Gleichzeitig lässt es sich weit genug öffnen, um bequem über den Kopf gezogen zu werden.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The collar can be easily cleaned under clear water or with a little soap to remove mud, dirt, or other grime. Afterwards, simply dry it with a towel and the collar is ready for its next use.
The metal elements are rose gold. Wear and tear is normal over time.

If your collar is not custom-made, unpersonalised and unused, you can return it within the usual period.
If the collar has an engraving or special request, an exchange is unfortunately not possible.
If you are unsure about the size or width: Simply contact us – we will be happy to help you before you place your order.
To prevent the collar from slipping over the head when pulled, measure the circumference directly behind the ears. Additionally, we need the circumference at the widest part of the head so that the collar can be comfortably slipped on.
Example:
Circumference behind the ears: 45 cm
Widest part of the head: 47 cm
Normal neck circumference: 46 cm
In this case, we recommend size S. The smallest setting is 42 cm, so the collar sits securely behind the ears and can also be opened wide enough to be comfortably pulled over the head.

The designations S, M, L, etc. refer to the respective base size of the collar. However, due to the slip chain and the adjustment option, the NB Extreme Slip has a different adjustable circumference.
Therefore, you should not only choose by the size designation but always pay attention to the indicated circumference.
Example: M (42–57 cm)
The collar can be adjusted to a circumference between 42 and 57 cm. The larger the base size, the larger the adjustment range typically is.

However, due to the Velcro, you should ensure that your collar dries well before its next use.
That is absolutely understandable. Depending on its width, BioThane® naturally has a certain intrinsic weight. However, the slip collar version is approximately 20g lighter compared to our classic NB Extreme with a buckle – this difference is particularly noticeable in the wider version.
Of course, a BioThane® collar with high-quality metal elements cannot be compared to a light fabric collar with a plastic clasp. However, precisely this combination of materials ensures that the collar is particularly stable and durable.
The NB Extreme Slip is based on our NB Extreme collar. This is why our patented Velcro adjustment mechanism is also used here.
This is not conventional Velcro, but a particularly soft and durable special Velcro from the climbing sector.
When adjusting, make sure that the rough side of the Velcro is fully engaged. This is the only way the collar can hold securely and not readjust itself even with stronger pulling.
The classic NB Extreme features a quick-release buckle and a D-ring.
With the NB Extreme Slip, these are replaced by a pull-through chain. This allows it to function as a martingale collar and be put on and taken off over the head.
Yes and no. We want to be completely transparent here: No everyday object is completely indestructible. Therefore, with very heavy use or after many years, it can theoretically happen that individual areas come loose.
The splatter design is applied with a special paint, then sealed and additionally impregnated. This means the surface is particularly well protected, feels pleasantly soft, and water beads off better. So far, we ourselves have not observed any detachments.
Please do not clean the collar with hard brushes or aggressive cleaning agents. Lukewarm water and, if necessary, a little mild soap are usually sufficient.
Yes. The black version is not powder-coated but anodized using a classic chemical process. Due to strong and constant friction with the pull chain, the black surface can still wear down over time. However, with normal daily use, it holds up very well.
If you want to avoid visible wear and tear, the silver version is an excellent choice. Naturally, the screws are also made in silver for this version.
Like our NB Extreme collars, the slip variant also impresses with its high durability.
The chains are made of high-quality stainless steel. The breaking load for the 25mm variant is approx. 300 kg and for the 40mm variant approx. 500 kg.
The narrow variant has also been extensively tested on various breeds such as Huskies, herding dogs, and German Shepherds, and easily withstands dogs up to approx. 40 kg.
The choice primarily depends on the intended use, your dog's size, and their behavior on the leash.
For small to medium-sized dogs, relaxed walks, and dogs that rarely pull, the 25-mm version is very suitable.
For larger dogs weighing approx. 35 kg or more, or dogs that pull strongly or lunge on the leash when encountering others, we recommend the 40-mm version. Not only because of its higher load capacity, but especially because the wider strap distributes pressure more effectively.

No, don't worry! The rougher part of the hook and loop fastener is only used for size adjustment and does not come into contact with your dog's neck.
The area that touches the neck consists of the soft part of the hook and loop fastener– a particularly high-quality industrial hook and loop fastener that is durable, flexible, and comfortable on the skin. It has no sharp edges and is designed to lie softly and comfortably on the neck even when moving.
This is currently due to availability with our manufacturer. The wide stainless steel pull-through chain is currently only available in silver. We can only offer a black version for the narrow variant.
