NB ART Extreme | BioThane® Tactical Collar | Handpainted | SCREAM | Spooky Season | CUSTOM
NB SPOOKY SEASON – DROP 3 👻
There are exactly 2 of this design available. No more.
Because you loved this design so incredibly much, it’s getting a small exception: instead of just one ready-made piece, we are creating exactly two hand-painted collars with this motif.
The special part: you choose your size yourself.
Your collar will be custom-made for you after your order and subsequently painted by hand.
🩸 Limited to a total of 2 pieces
🎨 completely hand-painted
📏 size freely selectable
✋ made for you only after order
Please note: Every collar is truly painted by hand directly onto the material and is not printed. As a result, lines, gradients, placement, and individual details may deviate slightly from the product images. This is exactly what is part of genuine handmade work – this makes each of the two collars an individual piece despite having the same motif.
Once both are sold, this design is gone.

MATERIAL & COMFORT
The base is made of original BioThane® – robust, waterproof, easy-care, and a vegan alternative to leather.
Thanks to our patented Velcro system, the collar can be adjusted infinitely and optimally adapted to your dog's neck circumference.
The extra soft area of the Velcro lies on the inside and simultaneously forms a light inner lining for a comfortable fit.
EXTRA PROTECTION
After completion, each EMBER collar is additionally sealed and impregnated by us.
This allows water and dirt to bead off the surface better, and the collar is particularly easy to keep clean.

A quick note:
The metal elements of the collar are coated. Signs of wear on the coating can occur over time due to friction and are completely normal.
Colors and crystals can also appear slightly different depending on the screen, lighting, and environment.
The processing time is 4-8 weeks.
It is made of original BioThane®, which is the robust and vegan alternative to leather. Furthermore, unlike leather, BioThane® cannot mold and is therefore much more hygienic.
The collar is adjustable using a particularly soft and flexible hook-and-loop fastener. The soft part also serves as a comfortable inner lining.
BREAKING LOAD OF THE BUCKLES:
Quick Release Buckle up to 400kg
COBRA Original Quick Release Buckle up to 18kN.
IMPORTANT - Regarding wear and tear
Our fittings are made of high-quality metal alloys and are partly black coated. Through normal use - e.g., friction with carabiners, contact with sand, dirt, asphalt, or stones - slight signs of abrasion may appear on the coating over time.
This is due to the material and does not constitute a product defect. The function and stability of the fittings are not affected by this.
Our Extreme collars are, of course, designed to be worn and used in everyday life – nevertheless, real crystals are not an indestructible material. 🖤
If your dog, for example, rolls around on concrete, asphalt, or other very rough surfaces while wearing the collar, the metal elements such as the screws, buckle, and D-ring can get scratched.
These are completely normal signs of wear that can occur over time with a collar that is worn.
For cleaning, lukewarm water and a soft cloth are usually sufficient. Please avoid using hard brushes, scrubbing vigorously, or using aggressive cleaners around the crystals.
In addition, every collar is sealed and impregnated by us after completion so that water and dirt can bead off more easily.
Small note on color: Depending on the light, environment, and screen, colors may appear differently
FAQs
Truly hand-painted. 🎨
The motif is not printed, glued on, or applied via transfer, but painted directly by hand onto the collar.
Depending on the motif, this process alone can take several hours – for particularly elaborate designs, we sometimes spend up to 8 hours on a single collar.
This is exactly why no two pieces are 100% identical. Even if the same design is created twice, the hand-painting process always results in minor differences in lines, color gradients, or details.
So, you aren't getting a printed duplicate, but an individually hand-painted collar.
Our ART collars are not just meant to look good – they are made to be worn.
Before the actual painting begins, the BioThane® is prepared accordingly. We then use high-quality paints suitable for this application. After painting, the design is sealed and fixed to ensure the layers of paint are protected as effectively as possible.
Finally, the collar is treated with a matte waterproofing spray. This conditions the surface and provides an additional protective layer over the paint.
A comparable process has been used for years in shoe finishing and ensures a very durable surface.
Nevertheless, it remains true craftsmanship. To ensure the longest possible lifespan, we therefore recommend cleaning the collar only with lukewarm water. Aggressive cleaning agents, soaps, hard brushes, or heavy scrubbing should be avoided, as these can eventually damage the sealant and consequently the paint.
Both versions provide additional comfort thanks to their softer, rounded edges – but they differ slightly in terms of look, feel, and care.
FABRIC
Our fabric outer band is soft, slightly narrower, and available in many different colors. This makes it particularly easy to coordinate with BioThane®, splatter, embroidery, or paint.
It is easy to care for and can naturally get wet – it just needs to be allowed to dry completely afterwards.
Since it is fabric, normal signs of wear or slight fraying may occur over time with very intensive use.
LEATHER
Our leather outer band is made of soft nappa leather and appears slightly wider and more dimensionally stable. This gives the collar a particularly high-quality and elegant look.
Leather is durable, but requires a little more care. Depending on use, we recommend treating it occasionally with suitable leather care products.
Leather can also naturally get wet, but is not intended for prolonged bathing or regular swimming.
Of course – unless it has been personalised or custom-made for you.
If your collar is not custom-made, unpersonalised and unused, you can return it within the usual period.
If the collar has an engraving or special request, an exchange is unfortunately not possible.
If you are unsure about the size or width: Simply contact us – we will be happy to help you before you order.
YES!
However, due to the Velcro, you should ensure that your collar dries well before its next use.
Both buckles are based on the same principle and function reliably. Our standard quick-release buckles are of high quality and have a breaking load of approx. 400 kg – which is absolutely sufficient for most dog breeds.
However, if desired, we can also manufacture your collar with the original COBRA® buckle by AustriAlpin. This professional buckle has an even higher breaking load of around 900 kg and originally comes from the climbing and military sectors.
No, don't worry! The rougher part of the hook-and-loop fastener is only used for size adjustment and does not come into contact with your dog's neck.
The area that touches the neck consists of the soft part of the hook-and-loop fastener – a particularly high-quality industrial hook-and-loop fastener that is durable, flexible, and comfortable on the skin. It has no sharp edges and is designed to lie softly and comfortably on the neck, even when moving.
Yes and no.
The splatter design is applied with a special paint and then sealed. A similar process has been used for years, for example, in the shoe industry.
Nevertheless, you should avoid cleaning the collar with abrasive brushes or harsh cleaning agents. Lukewarm water – with a little mild soap if needed – is usually sufficient.
