The throat strap is removable. The screws are NOT glued.
The wire muzzles impress with their high level of comfort and their deep, box-like cut, which allows for relaxed panting.
They are very secure and well-made. The side arms, which are designed to rest slightly below the cheekbones, ensure a very secure fit.
The basket gets its color through powder coating and is equipped with BioThane straps. Our nose pad is sewn in place. All screws are glued (except for the throat strap).

Powder coatings are very durable but not indestructible. Sniffing on asphalt or other hard surfaces, or generally bumping the muzzle against other objects, can cause damage to the affected areas, causing the coating to chip or become scratched. A muzzle is a daily item; unfortunately, such occurrences are normal and unavoidable.
Color indication for wear
Due to the different pigment composition of each color, metallic and neon colors wear out faster than standard colors. This may also apply to very light standard colors. This is normal and unavoidable.
NOTE STRAP:
For smaller dog breeds, we recommend the classic neck strap closure with the roller buckle, as this allows for smaller and better adjustment options.

CHOPO muzzles are galvanized wire muzzles which we powder-coat to a high standard and are equipped with BioThane straps.
The neck strap has a roller buckle, which is black as standard. This can show signs of wear over time.
Using strong, black book screws with extra securing adhesive, the strap always stays in place.
The adjustability varies from muzzle to muzzle.
If you wish, you can get an extra throat strap.
This also comes with black screws, which are NOT glued, so you can adjust it yourself as needed, or even remove it completely.
If you would like to have other metal elements such as silver or rose, please write to us, these are currently only available on request.
The inner lining of the nose pad is currently made of a soft foam material. To ensure that it does not become brittle or porous over time due to the skin oils of your furry nose, you should regularly clean the nose pad under tap water.

Ja! Wir verkleben und vernähen jedes Polster zusätzlich – im Gegensatz zu anderen Anbietern, die meist nur schrauben oder kleben. Die Schrauben sind vom Polster überdeckt, sodass nichts scheuert.
Warum das wichtig ist? Das Polstermaterial (ein spezieller Schaumstoff) kann durch Hautfette mit der Zeit porös werden. Wenn es nicht zusätzlich vernäht ist, kann es brechen oder sich ablösen. Durch regelmäßiges Abspülen mit Wasser kannst du die Lebensdauer verlängern.
Ja, alle Schrauben sind verklebt – bis auf die am Kehlriemen, damit du diesen individuell einstellen kannst. Die Verklebung verhindert, dass sich durch Vibrationen (z. B. bei Konfrontationen mit anderen Hunden) Schrauben lösen und die Sicherheit gefährden.
Beim 2Face-Modell wird oben eine Farbe gepulvert, unten eine andere. Der Farbübergang verläuft etwa in der Mitte – dort, wo später der Nackenriemen befestigt wird.
Ja, das ist möglich. Lege dazu ein Handtuch auf den Tisch für besseren Halt und biege vorsichtig. Kleine Streben oder Schweißnähte können brechen, wenn zu schnell oder zu stark gebogen wird. Mit Vorsicht ist das Risiko aber gering.
Das kommt auf deinen Hund an. Viele Maulkörbe müssen leicht angepasst werden – zum Beispiel in der Breite oder an der Wange – damit sie wirklich perfekt sitzen. Das ist völlig normal.
Ja – zum Beispiel, wenn dein Hund mit dem Maulkorb über Asphalt schleift. Auch die beste Pulverbeschichtung hat ihre Grenzen. Denk daran: Ein Maulkorb ist ein Gebrauchsgegenstand und darf Gebrauchsspuren bekommen.
