Our 1 m training leash is ideal for targeted training, as a house lead, or for use in dog sports.
One end features a sturdy bolt snap, while the other end is open – for maximum flexibility and freedom of movement.
The rubberized webbing provides excellent grip and is secure in your hand even when wet. At the same time, the material is pleasantly light, making it very comfortable to handle.
Compared to coated materials, it is slightly more prone to getting dirty, but offers significantly more grip.
Additionally, the ends of the leash are reinforced with a high-quality Biothane piece. This not only provides more security and durability but also gives the leash a particularly clean, high-quality look.

The BioThane reinforcement is one of the special details of our training leash—and not just visually a real difference.
Unlike many other providers, we don't just sew the ends or use tubing or simple finishing solutions. Instead, we use high-quality, original BioThane to reinforce the ends cleanly, stably, and durably.
This has several advantages:
The ends do not fray unattractively, look higher quality, and lie flat. At the same time, the BioThane reinforcement provides additional stability at the heavily stressed points of the leash.
The connection is secured with screws that are provided with thread locker. This ensures everything sits firmly and reliably. The end of the leash is also fitted with a small piece of BioThane—for a more comfortable feel in the hand and so that the end of the leash does not unravel unattractively.

Yes, this is completely normal.
The black snap hook has a coating applied by the manufacturer. This is not a powder coating applied by us.
Scratches can occur through normal use — for example, due to asphalt, contact with D-rings on the collar or harness, other metal parts, or external environmental factors.
This can fundamentally happen with any snap hook, whether it's a bolt snap or a safety snap hook, and regardless of the color. With black snap hooks, it is only more noticeable because the silver-colored base metal can become visible under the dark coating.
This is normal cosmetic wear and has no effect on the safety or function of the snap hook.
If visible signs of wear bother you, we recommend choosing a silver snap hook — scratches are generally much less noticeable on them.
Yes, our leash is deliberately designed as a short examination and training leash with a length of approx. 1 m.
Depending on the club, association, dog sport, or examination, there may be specific regulations or recommendations. Some also allow 1.2m long leashes. Many clubs tolerate or prefer short leashes of approx. 1 m length in practice — which is precisely why we deliberately chose this length.
Thanks to its short length, the leash fits comfortably in hand, doesn't dangle unnecessarily, and allows for calm, controlled guidance of the dog.
Moreover, it's not only practical for dog sports but also wonderfully suited as a short training leash for everyday use — for example, as a so-called house leash. This way, you can gently guide, limit, or support your dog at home or in controlled situations without a long leash getting in the way.
