NOTE ON COATING
With powder-coated variants, small flaws in the color may occur in individual places, for example between the links.
This is production-related, does not affect the function, and can lead to a slight "used look" over time. This is completely normal.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON USE
The CHAIN collar is not a classic everyday collar and is not suitable for dogs that pull strongly on the leash.
Due to its narrow and rigid form, the pressure is not distributed as it would be with a wider collar made of leather or Biothane.
It is particularly suitable as a stylish accessory, for dog sports, or for dogs that are truly reliably leash-trained.
For more safety, the leash should be attached to the left or right of the carabiner.

There's also a safety carabiner with a high breaking strength and safety lock. This original is only available from us, as we hold the patent for chains with this carabiner.
The chain collars are FCI standard and long-link. The short-link chains do NOT comply with the test.

Please only loop a leash next to the carabiner, never into the carabiner.
Please only use a leash if your furry friend is very good at walking on a leash and does not pull.
We're not saying this because the breaking load can't withstand it, but because with thin collars, the pressure can't be distributed evenly and over a wide area when pulled. This poses a risk of injury to the dog.

Suspension points
Due to the coating process, hanging points at the ends AND between the links are completely normal and unavoidable. Wherever there are contact points, no powder can penetrate, and therefore no paint can penetrate.
wear
Friction, whether between individual links or even from a leash, naturally causes wear. This is also completely normal and unavoidable. Depending on how intensively you use the chain, wear can occur more quickly.
Color indication for wear
Due to the different pigment composition of each color, metallic and neon colors wear off faster, especially between the links, than standard colors. This may also apply to very light standard colors. This is normal and unavoidable.
Care
Chain collars don't require intensive care. However, it's still worth cleaning your chain regularly with clean water, especially if a lot of dirt gets stuck between the links or after swimming in the sea. Additional dirt particles can lead to increased friction and therefore faster wear.
PFLEGEHINWEISE
Dieses Halsband benötigt keine spezielle Pflege. Jedoch sollte es regelmäßig mit Wasser abgespühlt werden, vor allem dann, wenn Ihr im Meer wart. Durch Salz oder andere Schmutzpartikel zwischen den Gliedern, kann die reibung erhöht werden und somit eine schnellere Abnutzung entstehen. Ein Used Look entsteht so also schneller.

Das bedeutet: Auch bei kräftigen Hunden ist auf dieses Material Verlass – vorausgesetzt, es wird korrekt verwendet.
Ja, das ist völlig normal. Dort, wo Reibung entsteht oder wo die Glieder aufhängen, kann keine Pulverbeschichtung dauerhaft halten.
Auch mit sehr hochwertigen Farben und sorgfältiger Verarbeitung lässt sich dieser Effekt nicht vollständig vermeiden – er gehört zur ganz normalen Abnutzung bei beschichteten Ketten. Die Funktion bleibt dadurch aber unbeeinträchtigt.
Nein, auch das ist normal. Beim Schraubverschluss ist immer ein minimaler Bereich ohne Beschichtung, damit sich das Gewinde korrekt drehen lässt. Wir halten diesen Bereich so klein wie möglich – ganz vermeiden lässt er sich aber technisch nicht.

Metallic, glitter, neon, or pearl colors contain special effect pigments that are more sensitive to abrasion. This is not a quality defect, but rather a matter of the nature of these colors.
In short: the more unusual the color, the more sensitive the surface – but of course still of high quality.
Ja! Edelstahl ist rostfrei – also kein Problem bei Kontakt mit Wasser.
Wir empfehlen aber, das Halsband nach dem Einsatz, z. B. am Strand oder See, mit klarem Wasser abzuspülen, um Schmutz oder Sand zu entfernen.
Das verhindert zusätzliche Reibung und sorgt dafür, dass die Beschichtung länger schön bleibt.

For many dog sports or tests, chain collars are required , which must be long and single-linked – to ensure that no aids can be hidden .
Our CHAIN collars meet exactly these requirements.
💡 The snap hook is also allowed – according to the FCI there is no exclusion as long as the visibility of the neck is guaranteed.
